We dined at this restaurant several times, as we stayed at the Capt'n Gregg's Dive Resort. The restaurant is up a flight of stairs from the beachfront walk, just about 1 minute from the Sabang pier. The resort's dive shop is downstairs.
The bar and restaurant have a TV running most of the time, but the volume is low and non-intrusive. There is a large variety of alcoholic beverages available, including a table with all-you-can-drink beer for 300PHP (6-9 nightly, I think). We aren't beerhounds, so we tried the Gin Juice instead, it's tart and refreshing, served ice cold in a frozen mug. The managing director, Chuck, can often be seen in the bar area, and is very knowledgeable about the area.
The food is good, the steaks are imported from Australia, and the local ingredients fresh and tasty. Most impressive are the portions - they really are huge. The service is efficient and unobtrusive, and the atmosphere laid back. I don't know how busy the place gets in high tourist season, or how noisy. We were there off-season (in fact, had to leave a day early to avoid a typhoon) and it was quiet all the time.
The views of the bay, and the mountains, and other islands, are impressive as always, with changing weather and sun always presenting new shows for the eye.
