“Spanglish!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014 via mobile

wonderful spanish cuisine cooked by authentic cook of Spanish descent.

very cozy atmosphere, convenient location.

the presence of the pastries and breads is a big plus... no need to look for an after dinner place. They serve great cakes n breads too.

“It's all about the food...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013

Frankly, this is a terrible restaurant, it's cramped and designed like a cafeteria and the patrons seem to consist exclusively of rude, arrogant old family types who have been running and ruining this country for centuries.
However, there is a very good reason to come here, the Spanish-Filipino food they serve here is quite delicious and the waitresses, while not very competent, try their best to make you feel comfortable.
Out of their extensive menu featuring most classics and some innovations, we chose the delicious calamares rellenos en su tinta, the callos tripe stew and the braised tongue lengua estofado.
Most dishes are under 300 Php, portions are big and the food is really tasty.
They don't seem to serve wine there, but i didn't ask for corkage fees, so if you come here for dinner maybe it's a good idea to call ahead and bring your own.

“First time visit, will be back”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

I had dinner here this evening, I went early as I had to work tonight. I asked the waitress to recommend one of the seafood dishes, she recommended the baked fish with potatoes. I really liked it, simple yet flavorful and cooked really well. I will be back to try other dishes.

“Paella To Die For”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

Tiny Kitchen is one of the restaurants that opened my eyes (and taste buds ^_^) that there are really good food and great food. Obviously I had great food here. :-) I'm so blessed that our boss is a foodie and so every time we visit Davao she makes it a point we try out a new GREAT restaurant she discovered. Now about tiny kitchen, as soon as you enter the restaurant you will already fall in love with it's ambiance. They have a simple but very interesting, very pink interior. Near the door are shelves full of baked goodies that really look great and makes you think of "pasalubong" for your loved ones. As soon as we sat the menu is right there on the table, a huge place mat type paper menu. We had paella of course, salpicao, and gambas. The paella caught my heart. It was love at first taste. Hehe.. But the greatness did not stop there, we had dessert (YAY!) and due to popular demand we had the mango ice cream cake. It is awesome! You could really taste fresh mango and it's simply great. It brings you the feeling of happiness.. Haha! It is indeed a must try. They do not do reservations in order to accommodate anyone so pray hard that there is an available table when you arrive or be willing to wait. :)

“A must-try in Davao”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

Food is super yum, a laundry list of must try: paella mariscos, vino rojo, lengua estofado, the wide variety of dessert, pepino fresca lemonada. The owner will always check-out and do chit-chat with the customers, very accommodating.
