First Brotzeit branch in Manila. The beer selection is great (carries the Paulaner brand).

The prices are relatively on the high side for Manila standards, but it is because most of the items are imported. Must get: The goulash, sausage platter (particularly the currywurst), and loads and loads of beer. More of that in this link:

Recommended to go here with friends so that you can sample all the things in the menu as the servings are big.

I was very impressed with the food and the quality of the food on offer. During my last stay in Manila I sampled quite a few dishes off the Menu and everything tastes very authentic. The ambience is more that of a beer garden than a fine dining restaurant, but again this is in keeping with the style of food. The beer selection is great and beers are served as they should be. If you are looking for food that is Bavarian without compromise (pork knuckle, Kalbsgulasch mit Spaetzle, Grammelschmalz) then this is your place.
Note: Like everywhere in the Philippines the concept of a Starter or Appetizer does not exist, despite seeing them listed on the Menu. Expect them to be served with or even after your main-course has arrived! You need to specify that you want your lard bread before your Wienerschnitzel....

Got the original lager and dunkel lager, both great beers. Happy hour before 6pm. Ordered also the sausage platter, 5 different sausages, good for 2-3 persons. Lots of tables with couches available. The cost of the beer is ok, food is very expensive but servings are large and usually for sharing. They also have desserts and their espresso is illy.
