First, the good: the pool was nice and a welcome relief on hot days, our double room was very clean, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was very nice (open air shower)! Venezia Garden is a short walk (up and across a busy street) to Prawirotaman where there were a ton of touristy restaurants serving really delicious food (if you need a break from the delicious street food available all over the place). It was really nice to be on a quiet street close to Prawirotaman, rather than staying on it!
Next, the not so good: Getting breakfast was a bit awkward (it wasn't clear who actually worked at the hotel), and breakfast itself wasn't great. Also, the internet was a bit tricky to get on; it seems that their router frequently gets overwhelmed. Finally, on the last day we booked a car for a 4:45 am ride to the airport, and it hadn't showed up by 5:00 at which point we went search for a taxi (so we aren't sure if it ever arrived).
All in all it was a very good stay, with a few hiccoughs.
