Ordered tortilla de patatas but it was just omelette with potato, not a proper Spanish omelette.

I wouldn't have minded so much - Spanish omelette in Asia usually isn't done properly - but with this being a Spanish restaurant and having a Basque owner, I would expect the main basic Spanish dish to be done right.

Good, cheap food. Mostly local dishes. Nice atmosphere, lots of paintings on the wall. Good service. We had lunch and dinner about four times.

We found this place at about 10pm, just wanting a quick bite to eat before being up at 4am for a day trip. We ended up staying for around an hour, and having a great chat with the owner who told us so much about the restaurant, the local area and one of the delicacies on offer on the menu - snake.

The menu is a good mix of European and Indonesian so most people would be able to find something to suit them, I also noticed a pretty cheap and varied breakfast menu.

The real highlight of the meal was when my boyfriend ordered the 'Devil Drink' - a Cobra heart - still whole - in the blood of the snake and sweetened with honey. Although I was not sampling this particular food, he assured me it was actually very nice and was very glad to have sampled a local delicacy. The owner even invited us out to the countryside on a snake catching trip, which we had to decline as we were moving on the next day.

I would definitely recommend a visit, if not for the snake for the varied menu, relaxed atmosphere, interesting art on display and the friendly staff.

Like in the spanish restaurants, the service its very relaxed, the owners like to talk and give some advice. We didnt had to wait to much for the food, meanwhile there was some young kids playing live music - nice. The food was excelent, first steak in Indonesia that was cooked like we ordered - red! And had to try the special dish: cobra and python! Diferent, but good tasting! Overall it was very good restaurant. Located in a charming alley.
