This temple is in the same compound as Prambanan, similarly impressive and worth the trip. There are much fewer visitors here which makes it a very pleasant, peaceful place!

an incredible temple... so much detail and so ancient... and well revived by unesco... the photos in the museum show how they did it... amazing place

This temple is on the northern edge of the Prambanan complex and definitely worth a visit. The stone guardians at the entrance are magnificent and the temple itself is really beautiful though obviously not in the best state of repair. This place really is a gem and one that everyone who goes to the complex should make an effort to visit.

Very few people at this temple compared to the others at Prambanan but lots to see. It's in a state of renovation, but still had great access and no workers on site when I was there.

But the temple is mostly in ruins and it's closed off for tourist by some green fences. The restorated part is not that easy to see because of the rubble in between the fence and the actual temple. I bet in a few years, when restoration is finished, this temple will be very nice, but for now just enjoy the Prambanan complex.
