But the temple is mostly in ruins and it's closed off for tourist by some green fences. The restorated part is not that easy to see because of the rubble in between the fence and the actual temple. I bet in a few years, when restoration is finished, this temple will be very nice, but for now just enjoy the Prambanan complex.

You may have to convince the train drivers to take you there. Then walk back since they may not be able to wait until you are through with your visit. If you can, engage a guide to take you through this incredible site.

This temple is located some 1km away from Prambanan temple, assessible via the tram (free for foreigners). The tram will make a 5min stop. If you need more time, you can always take the next one that come by.

Compared to Prambanan, it's a very quite place, which is good to allow you to enjoy it peacefully.

The unique part of this temple are the large (chubby!) guardian statues guarding the entrances.

A large part of the temple is still being restored. Nonetheless, it's still beautiful!

This is at the back of Prambanan & was in the process of being restored. It has an amazing gate at the front but you can't actually go into the grounds at the moment.

This attraction is very near Prambanan temples. It is a pity only a small temple has been restored. when fully restored, this place will claim its place as one of the must visit attractions in Yogyakarta.
