Stayed in this hotel with our tour group on the first week of May. I personally stayed for two nights. Having ever stayed in this hotel five years prior, no significant changes were made on the building of the hotel. All the public places are open-air and therefore not air conditioned. Local newspapers can be found in the lobby. The swimming pool is not really big with separate child pool. The (small) restaurant is located beside the pool. All public places in this hotel were small, thus making this hotel feels homey and quiet, which is a plus side.

The rooms were quite small too, without being too small. I stayed in the larger variant room. One thing to note here is that every room in this hotel has a fully functioning smart TV which is really nice. Room cleanliness was good, but there were some cracks and degrading wall paint on the wall. The bathroom was clean too.

I didn't get the chance to try any food from the hotel, even the breakfast.

The hotel is located in a prime location, being near to the city center and the Sultan's Palace which is a popular tourist destination. Taxis and pedicabs were easy to find. But the airport is quite far from the hotel.

Staffs were friendly, typical Javanese hospitality.

I left the hotel on early morning to catch an early flight. Should you do the same, be sure to book a taxi the night before via the receptionist as catching a taxi on early morning here may be a little hard.

I had a satisfying stay and I'd love to visit this hotel again in the future

Room tip: No elevators here. Try to obtain a room on the first floor if you carried many luggages

This place is nice, but I think it's quitte expensive for what they have, everything in the room is a bit old. The bed is very nice and i liked the pool. The breakfast they have is also nice, you have bread, pancakes, fruit, omelettes, scrambled eggs, nasi.. and other Indonesian food (i'm not so familiar yet with all the names haha). The staf is friendly.

Average hotel with a decent breakfast and WiFi in your room. The air conditioning isnt the best so the rooms are warm. They also lookout onto a courtyard so their can be a lot of noise at night depending on your neighbours.
Just round the corner is a street full of restaurants and bars. The place is about 15-20 minutes away by tuk tuk

I spend 2 nights in this small and yet cosy hotel in land of Borobudur. My siblings and hubby, a group of seven of us enjoyed our stay tremendouslly in this small and cosy place. Service was excellent and the place and surrounding area, the pool, the patio and garden were well kept.We felt so at home and the breakfast was tasty and delicious though not much variety. Overall it was a really a gem in a city like Jogjakarta.I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
