This hotel is only a stones throw from all the main amenities, bars and restaurants in Yogyakarta. The staff are quick to address any questions you might have, as well as to recommend tours/excursions out to the various temples and active volcano.

The place was undergoing renovations when we went so it might be better sometime in the future.

-Wifi
-No safe or safety deposit box. There was an option to leave something with the desk, but I wouldn't leave valuables, just something like your passport.
-Location was great. AWESOME places to eat nearby and marts to stock up on supplies.
-Next door to viavia, which had good food and did some awesome activities - a must do.
-Western toilets with good shower
-Everyone spoke english.
-Probably one of the best places for laundry nearby we had while traveling the island of Java
-Great pool! (Very clean - lots of trees overhead, so they skim it alot)
-Lots of ants in the room
-Breakfast buffet was great

Our original room had some plumbing issues so they switch us rooms, so they were very accommodating.

Nice hotel, I stayed in a twin room during a travel tour. Bed was comfy, shower hot, few ants in the room but generally fairly clean. Nice outdoor area with a pool and it's situated on a lovely street with a range of restaurants, places to drink and places offering tours.

After staying here 5 years in a row I would NEVER stay here again.
Leaking aircon in one room .... 24 hours before aircon attended to in second room.
No kettle, tea/coffee, cups, glasses on arrival.
No towels
Large, rude, noisy school group during our stay who took belongings from our verandah.
We were shoved upstairs for breakfast while the school group had sole access to the restaurant.
NEVER AGAIN

I've stayed here in two separate occasions and the problem you will find is that they have a workshop actually on the site. Meaning that from 7 am until evening time all you will hear is banging from hammers. It'll drive you insane. The place could be gorgeous but it's poorly maintained. The food is blah and I'd recommend just going out on the street. The place stays in business by hosting busloads of tour groups that will arrive late at night, swarm the place and make a bunch of noise and ruin any chance you had at either enjoying the pool or getting any rest. The price can be attractive I know, but it's best you stay away in my opinion.
