The ‘fusion’ fever has travelled into many restaurants all around the world. Queens Tandoor too has created a special fusion blend of Indian and Chinese Cuisine creating a menu so rich and unique for first timers and an addiction for our regular clients. The brand name “Queen’s” was introduced during the 80's and never looked back as it continued to expand as a chain with over two restaurants covering the capital and four in Bali, Denpasar. With over 25 years of experience in serving, Queens Tandoor has mastered the Art of Catering and has been the pride of weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and many other functions; creating unique and delightful dish items paired with an excellent and efficient service. Dine with us either at Queen's Tandoor Permata Plaza or Queen's of India, Sunlake Hotel and experience flavor like never before.

“Love this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2014

My family and I have been here more times than we can count. In fact, the majority of our special occasions with extended family have been here. "Oh, [insert name] is in town? Let's go to Queens!" It's safe to say we're veterans of this place. The staff is always so helpful and accommodating. Be sure to try the Nasi Siram (chicken atop rice in a sweet and spicy sauce served on a hot place), it's a personal favorite of almost everyone in the family. Also, brownies with ice cream on top served on a hot place with chocolate sauce, YUM!!

Prices here (and in Jakarta in general) are incredibly cheap. And the food is incredibly delicious!

“Excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013 via mobile

Went there based on TA reviews and was not disappointed.
Not an obvious place to find but once there the atmosphere is quiet, not too classy, just tight.
Service is excellent, rapid , efficient and you can rely on their advice.
The food was excellent. Frief items not oily, the curry was excellent as was the rice and the kebab.
All the above + 3 beers IDR 500000.
Worth going. Recommended.

“Delicious Indian and Indonesian food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013

Queen's Tandoor has become a fast favourite as a lunch spot in Jakarta's business district - it is a short walk from the commercial buildings along Jalan Thamrin (it's in Permata Plaza) and offers delicious Indian-Indo fusion cuisine. The ambiance is suitable for business lunches and family meals alike.

There is a good variety of dishes at Queens and almost everything that we've tried has been excellent. Being vegetarian, our favourite Indonesian dishes include the mock chicken satay with smooth peanut sauce, eaten with a plate of spicy fried rice. From the Indian menu, we enjoy the gol gappas, papri chaat, mock chicken 65 and mock butter chicken. Be sure to emphasise that you're vegetarian and that you're ordering 'mock' meat - one waiter got our order wrong and served us real chicken. That was most disappointing, but the staff were so apologetic that we didn't hold it against them. Their variety of mocktails is decent, as is their selection of traditional Indian and Indonesian drinks.

“Good Indian food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

Queen's Tandoor offers a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy some good food. Restaurant is located on Thamrin road itself in the basement of Permata plaza...takes some time to find the place initially. The food was great. The "Go Green" mocktail was really refreshing and I would definitely recommend the same.
