Description: Al Nafoura is a melting pot of Lebanese design, ambience and cuisine. Built over two spacious levels to provide a relaxed atmosphere, the textured sand stone walls and terracotta floor vividly contrast with the richly colored handcrafted artifacts to emphasise the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern ambience. There are two private dining rooms ideal for special occasions or business meetings along with an outdoor terrace to enjoy shisha and traditional sweets. An open kitchen with vertical rotating spit roasting will slowly cook shawarmas to perfection and large wood-fired ovens in which an assortment of breads is baked. Discover Authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine and enjoy signature Haruf Ouzi (braised lamb shank ouzi style served with oriental rice, assorted nuts and yoghurt sauce) accompanied with hot or cold Mezzeh (appetizer) such as Hommos, Tabouleh and Samboussek. Enjoy the Shisha and traditional sweets at Al Nafoura outdoor terrace and don't miss our belly dancer performances every Friday night and Saturday night at 20.30 hrs + 21.30 hrs.

“A real pleasure if you like Lebanese food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Went there 3 times while in Jakarta, the food is simply amazing, really unexpected, the babaganoush was very appetizing, the shish tawouk very well prepared, the service impeccable and the overall environment very pleasant. A real good address if you are in town. The prices are very affordable, a great treat, will recommend highly to anyone.

“Quiet Dinner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

Well, a Lebanese restaurant in Indonesia is a rare choice, given the food choices in Jakarta. But my local guests wanted to try it out. Was a quiet Sunday night, so a good choice for a business dinner. The Hoummus and Mutabal was good, but the Shish Touwak was overcooked and very dry.
Good for convenience, but not brilliant for food delight!

“Classy lebanese resto.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2012

Went there twice: with collegues for set lunch and with friends for birthday celebration. If you want to enjoy the meal go for a la carte. Posh set-up (what would you expect from Le Meridien?) with all the attributes of luxury. The menu is very strong choice-wise as well as for the prices;-) have to admit the food is very good. All starters are authentic and yummy, puffed pitas are mouthwatering. Meat-eaters really enjoyed the lamb shank.
On the not so brigth side (apart from 5-star price): the waiters are sometimes a little bit lost, especially when it's a big group of active people ordering simultaneously=) Also the mint tea is a total rip off - very low quality. Ayran is a much better option is you tolerate diary.

“Good Lebanese”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2012

Al Nafoura in the Le Meridien hotel is a great little spot for middle eastern food. Several traditional dishes and desserts. Have tried the Lamb Shank, Mixed Seafood, and a couple of the fish dishes - all were good. The soups and appetizers were also excellent.

Prices aren't unreasonable for a 3+ star hotel. Most appetizers range Rp 50,000-120,000 (US$ 5-12.50) and main courses around 150,000-300,000 (US$ 15.75-31.00). Hummus w/Pita and Lamb Shank (served with veggies and rice) cost Rp 220,000 (US$ 23.15) for dinner.

Wonderfully decorated. Excellent staff.

They have Hookah/Shisha for a little extra fun (smoking part of restaurant). Belly dancing on Friday and Saturdays.
