Reviews said that the service here could be quite slow. Yet, last night our meals came quite fast. And, fresh. We had deep fried corn fritters with potato, Balinese fish saté, a mix of brown and white rice garnished with salted fish, and chayote shoots dish. All taste excellent. Compared to other Indonesian food, this place did not punish our wallet. We spent around US$20 for a big dinner for two, and that already included drinks and desserts. Ambience was quiet, relaxing, and homey. So far, this is the best choice to dine in the pretty and nostalgic Jalan Cikini, Jakarta. Last thing: check out the beautiful Batik collections!
