I have been to the Sunday brunch at Il Mare a few time over the past year. Every time I go I enjoy the decor and the food. What I cannot stand is the smoking at the bar. Last time I went there was even a patron smoking at the adjacenet table in the dining room and the staff did nothing about it. The food selection is extensive and extremely tasty. You certainly do not come away hungry. Having said that they do tend to run out by the end of the session so you do need to be attentive to the time if you want to try all stages of the meal e.g. often the cheeses are all gone by the time I get to them. Do not assume that they serve Italian food only, yes there are some pastas but also a extensive selection of other dishes also. The option of free flow alcohol is available but they are not generous with their offers to keep your glass topped up. The entertainment provided for the children in the foyer is a great distraction for them and allows us to enjoy our meal in peace.
