I looove this place! The food is very spicy but for a half Indonesian like me who loooves spicy food, this is the place to be! The food is very good, not all of it, but most of the food is very good. The freshness of the food isn't the best sometimes, but only for the vegetables. Their Genjer is very good! And I love how they have red rice not just plain white rice (for those on a diet). You pick the meals yourself and they also have free beras kencur which also nice. All and all this is a great place for Indonesian cuisine and spicy food!

In short, a must-go place if you love spicy food. They have long table that display different chili and chicken dishes. A fun thing to see is a corner of soy sauce bottles collected from different cities in Indonesia. Make sure you wear something comfortable, because you'll sweat and eat a lot! :)

Quite unique atmosphere with cute javanese ornaments. Be ready to feel 'hot', from the weather and I mean very spicy for some menus. Rawon is nice. Careful if you order sauteed vegetable (tumis buncis). Ours was already spoiled. I think because they cooked sometime ago while the room temperature is hot & humid.
I love 'wedang uwuh', a traditional drinks from ginger, clove, cinnamon & other spices.
OK if you love spicy food.

If u like javanese food, come to this place, they have a full choice of javanese cuisine.. But don't forget that most of it are spicy and hot, so prepare to drink lots of water.. I recommend this place.. Its better if you bring the whole family to dine..

If you are a foreigner(s), I must warn you to order their sambals at your own risk! Some of them could set fire inside your mouth (of course, not literally). However, the sweet taste of traditional Javanese food might suit your taste. Although the atmosphere isn't thick Indonesian, they display some of unique Indonesian merchandises, such as wayang (puppets) and the screen as well.

Very recommend it.
