from the highway it looks nice but the hotel is really terrible. i wont stay there if they give me USD 200 also, Rooms is huge enough but with those freaky terrible smell, the washroom was like havent been clean and the water is so small, no hot water. The breakfast is the lousiest in the world as they written 4 star and for me it is worth no star, with just only 4 selection, fried noodles, plain rice, chicken and sambal, and some breads. We are so regret that the agents recommend this lousy hotel to us and we wont book with them anymore, we feel been cheated by DWI ANUGRAH PRATAMA (DWI TOUR & TRAVEL),www.dwitravel.webs.com.

This hotel is a little bit run down but offers huge rooms with nice views on Kota Jakarta for a very reasonable price when you booked ahead online (asiarooms etc)
we payed only 40 euro /one night /one room for a two bed room.
The bar- restaurants have a real **** price level so this is common in Indonesia;
cheap price for **** accomodation , high price for food and drinks!
One small beer costs 50.000RP (euro 4,50 $ 5,50) .
The chinese restaurant on the first floor offers 50% discount (excluding drinks)when you consume for a minimum amount. With 50% discount you pay than a quite "normal " price for a thee course meal though the price is a little bit above average. Warning: beer is very expensive.
In the direct surroundings of this hotel are no possibiltes to eat.

Very good location. In the center of the historic part of Jakarta (Kota). They have very reasonable price. My Superior room has been upgraded up to Continental Deluxe room for free. Breakfast served was more towards local cuisine. One recommendation... do not risk swimming in the pool, it really could be danger for health (photo is very different with actual conditions). Good location near Fatahillah Square, Puppet Museum (Museum Wayang), Jakarta History Museum (Fatahillah Museum), Fine Arts Museum (Balai Seni Rupa), Maritime Museum. Gereja Sion and Glodok are a bit far. Do not follow any local tour guides in Jakarta as then they will request a big money or ask you to buy something. Very reasonable price from Airport to Batavia hotel is IDR 100000 including Tolls!
