Had bought several items at the Batik Keris at the Plaza Indonesia, but needed to get a couple more items at the airport. While this store had more trinkets, it did not have as many as the Plaza store. I also found the prices here a bit more expensive than the Plaza store. Still, offered quality tourist items at a better rate than some of the other airport stores.

Batik Keris is a chain of multiple stores across Indonesia. They all have slightly different items. The one in Yogjakarta is huge, with lots of inexpensive local craft items. There is a nice shop in the Ciputra center of mega kunigan too. The quality of items here is better than in Yogjakarta, but the prices are higher too. The shop at the airport has a very limited selection. I would try to stop in one of the non-airport shops if possible. In addition to nice batik clothes and accessories, there is a good selection of carvings, metal figures, shadow puppets, keychains and other trinkets. Most items are unique, so it's a good idea to look at all of them carefully before making your selection.

Best for all types of souvenirs from batik to jewelry, food like coffee and local delicacies. Its the best place at the airport. Prices are reasonable too.
