Different than any chinatown in the world, jakarta's chinatown is kinda sad. Many old chinese style buildings are teared down and replace with modern shophouses.
regardless, there are still some icons worth viewing, such as Vihara Dharma Jaya (if im not mistaken) that located near petak sembilan alley, Santa Maria De Fatima Church (church with chinese influence building), and toasebio temple.
overall this is not a must see place in jakarta, but if you have some spare time, especially after visiting the old town, this place might have some hidden charm afterall
