When this restaurant was still new, the food was quite decent. We used to eat here at lunchtime and would generally order the different la mian dishes offered. One of my favorites was the pork belly la mian, and yes, I do mean "was".
The past 4 times ordering this dish, it was grossly undercooked. That left a disgusting, gamey-tasting pork belly, which isn't even edible. The texture itself was like cooked rubber. It seems as if they have too much business and have poor planning for cooking their pork belly. A dish that needs to be braised for a long time in order to achieve the tenderness. So instead of giving the meat the time it needs to cook properly, they just toss it right in the la mian and serve as is.
I can understand if it was a one time thing, but it wasn't. As I previously stated, this has happened on four separate occasions. How many more chances should they get?
