We arrived about 1:30 PM on Sunday & the restaurant was packed. The servers took our order of tea & then forgot about us. After flagging a server, we finally got only 1 menu & all others were with other guests. After flagging a different server, we finally got another menu.
The senior servers (the ones in full suits) finally came around to take our orders & were more professional, friendly & knowledgeable than the junior ones.
After getting our orders, the food tasted good but the restaurant uses MSG ("vetsin/micin") in nearly all its dishes & when we asked to hold the MSG, that was only possible for dishes like fried rice & a few others that doesn't use sauces. Thus, some reactions included extra thirst & a residual leftover around the gums hours after the meal. It's too bad since food tasted quite good & plating was creative, as was taste.
The decor follows some upper end restaurant trends of using low lighting, dark wood furniture & lots of private rooms. The atmosphere became more pleasant when patrons started leaving as the air became cooler & less stuffy.
For the price, it was reasonable & a pretty good deal but as much of the food used MSG, we'll opt for other Chinese restaurants which doesn't use MSG or can completely exclude it from their sauces.
