Stayed in this hotel for five nights for business purposes.
Located besides a bussy street (but which street in Jakarta isn't). A 7Eleven is located 100 meters from the hotel and a shopping center is within walking distance of the hotel (15 minutes walk).
The lobby is quite spacious and air conditioned, as well is the breakfast room, but there are only a few comfortable sofa's to hang out in the evening. WiFi signal and speed are OK for Indonesian standards. Breakfast was extensive, but not very tasteful, featuring toast, omelets, Indonesian breakfast stuff like nasi and mie, and fresh fruit, coffee and tea. Perhaps the worst point about the hotel is it's laundry service. First, it's pricey (i.e. €1,- per shirt), secondly they mixed up socks and t-shirts between people of our visiting group and secondly, they ruined a few shirts and neat trousers by ironing it too hot and too long. Multiple >€100 trousers were ruined during our visit, and after extensive discussion with the hotel staff, the only compensation was around €5.
The hallways, leading to the different rooms were, in contrary to the lobby, not air-conditioned.
Rooms were average size, but were clean. The beds were of outstanding quality and the air-conditioning was quiet and adequate. Our room was quiet, but a bit dark with a window facing a wall of the next building at three meters offset. The bathroom was a bit thorn and we were greeted by some insects when entering the bathroom sometimes (although no cockroaches). The fridge was a bit noisy, but the tv had a good range of channels.
All in all: average hotel, even for Indonesian budget/midrange standards. The essentials are good (beds, aircon), but all the secondary features are so-so.
