“Most authentic Japanese ramen in town”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Tried most ramen restaurants in town, but I personally think Santouka beats them all. It has thick soup and very rich in flavour. My personal favourite is Shio Ramen, but Kara-Miso Ramen is also very tasty for those who like it spicy.

“Authentic taste for Ramen”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

I can say they have one of the best soup for Ramen. The price is expensive, however most good Ramen is always expensive. but i think it's worth it when you crave for a good Ramen.

“Best Ramen in town”
Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

Yes, it is expensive. Yes, you have to wait quite sometime during weekends... But it's worthed.... The meat is juicy ... The soup is tasty... And I like it hot... I always add small chilly (cabe rawit potong) ....

“Ramen Closer in Taste to Japan”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

Very expensive ramen but then again the chef is Japanese & the taste is also quite close to what you will find in Japan. This is the 2nd time there & the 1st time tasted better so consistency is not quite there.

Nothing quite beats eating ramen in Japan itself but this restaurant does a pretty good job. We've tried other eateries in Jakarta serving ramen (including those managed & run by Japanese) & consistency seems to be a common story for whatever reason. This is the most expensive one by far among the others that you'll find in Central, South & North Jakarta.

The restaurant just had a special 50% discount all-day dining promotion recently so look out for it (FYI 2nd visit was during the promotion day & many dishes were sold out by the time we got there for dinner).

“One of the best ramen in Jakarta, a bit on the high price though.”
Reviewed March 26, 2013 via mobile

The ramen broth was delicious, definitely one of the best ramen in town. The grilled sliced pork cheek was out of this world. Dont miss this out!
However the price was a bit on the high side compared to other ramen houses.
But highly recommended for ramen lovers :)
