There's two spas in Cipete area. This one is by far the better of the two. Clean, good ambience and exceptional massages and scrubs. Look no further!

We opted for the traditional indonesian massage and the hot herbal compress massage as well as a hair spa each. I was particularly disappointed with the hot herbal massage as there was barely any pressure applied and despite asking the masseuse to increase pressure, it remained soft. Their hot herbal compress massage is nothing like the hot compress massages one would get in Indochina - it is very different and much gentler than their traditional massage (as we learned later). So if you want a stronger more solid massage - go for the traditional Indonesian massage which is done with oil. The hair spa itself was to be oil applied to your scalp and massaged in - I found the scalp massage nothing exceptional but the jojoba and vanilla coconut oil combo did make your hair softer and it smelt lovely after. After the oiling of your scalp/hair, you get a hair wash and basic blow dry.

The spa itself was very calming, clean with soft lighting and just generally relaxing. It is located within a housing area, but easily accessible with Grab/Uber. Nofi at front desk was lovely, and helpful. As the prices were rather steep, we expected more out of the whole experience. They need to get better masseuse personnel in if they are going to maintain the higher prices.

puri santi is the best place i have been visited for a spa in jakarta. very clean, nice service, so comfy. i will visit again definitely and want to make a membership.
