one night stay in this old and poor service hotel. My first room was not clean, reception gave me a dirty and messy room and reception was told me to wait in the room, but 10 minutes wait, no one come and i have to go down to reception desk and told them that the room that they gave was dirty. The reception was told me that the room is clean in their system. while i was asking the other room, i have to wait about 15 minutes more and they gave me a room with Noisy Air conditioner. I call the operator and told me there will be someone coming to fix it. But 15 minutes in the room no one come and i have to go down to reception desk to asked them to change the room. It's a nightmare stay at this hotel. They are not deserve to get five stars. They deserve to get one star hotel. I don't know why the tourism authority gave them such a five stars while the hotel better closed.

I stayed here in this hotel for 3 days during my business trip to Jakarta. The Hotel is located in the heart of the City and this is the only advantage it holds. Its pretty huge hotel with numerous rooms and thats why I feel during Checkin and Checout, you end up in a long Que. There is a Japnese restaurant in this Hotel where the waitress speaks only Japnese and its a complete mess for English speaking guests. And the restaurant is very expensive too.

Dont go there!! No internet!
I have to wait gor 40mins more for check in!
Even they gave a wrong room for me twice!!!
Never say any sorry!!

Do not stay at this hotel unless you have a bargain price for 2-3 stars hotel. The location is at Sudirman, only 4 busway stops from the Thamrin square in the centre of Jakarta. The surroundings is only big buildings. The lobby is nice, with only limited staffs for check in. I got room no 1223, it was standard twin room with old shabby carpet, the bathroom is stained, the shower can not properly pouring water, the closet and the sink with stained all over the surface. The window is not sound proof, so you can hear the traffic outside the window. The bed is not too bad. Slippers are provided for use during the stay, if you lost it you have to pay Rp. 5000,-. The breakfast is basic for 3 stars hotel. The gym is in the apartment building next door, the treadmills are in the small room with aircon and 2 TVs with only one channel. Towel is not provided. For every room there is only 1 key, every time you go out you have to leave the key at the front desk. I have terrible experienced, I left the key at the front desk, but the staff did not put it in the key cabinets, so I have to wait 10 minutes in front of my room to wait for somebody with the master key. After 20 minutes it was found under the papers in the front desk. Awful!

i've never given anything a 1 before. i left this hotel after a day there, even though it was right next door to my work. it was awful.

one note: the staff was lovely. they were super nice, kind, and gracious. this is a management issue, 100%.

i am giving it a 1 because it so vastly underwhelmed me. the lobby smells like mold. not a good sign. my first room stinks of mold. also not a good sign. the whole floor that i'm staying on smells like slightly rotten meat. also not a good sign. they switch me to a new room. no mold smell. the bed is plastic - like: hard plastic sheets. the pillows don't give at all, so my neck hurts. i'd have plastic sheets too if my whole place was moldy. the HVAC vent made knocking sounds all night. i woke up the next morning. my floor still smelled like old meat. so i left.

if any of that sounds ok, then you might not give this place a 1. for the same price, there are some really nice places to stay in jakarta. just not here.

Two night stay. The hotel made of good material such as marble in bathroom. However they were not maintained well. I got an impression that they do not put enough effort in maintaining bathroom.
Marble grouting, corner.....
Curtain seems old and damp smell....
Well i guess thats what to expect for such price.
The good points are the staff has genuine smile and hospitality.
Sometime we can find old staff with very good quality in his/her job.

I stayed 3 nights in the hotel and we gave a workshop there with participation of Indonesian Stakeholders and Government.

The lobby is good, the rest has the standard of a 2-3 star hotel. We had cockroaches in the meeting room and other little animals in the rooms. The rooms were humid and worn off. Since we payed a price for a 4 star hotel, I was very disappointed and ANGRY with the management that the money obviously is not reinvested into improving the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was good and had a great choice. I was just disturbed by little black bugs inbetween the fruit.

The worst was the fitness room. I had to ask 5 people and was sent to another building along the street to find a sticky room with a big hole in the ceiling where the air-condition used to be. Around this hole, the ceiling was black by humidity and bacteria. Half of the equipment with a sign "defect", the rest dirty, there was an old water cooler but empty and dirty.
The best was the staff. Always friendly, always helpful. Had a problem with the internet and within 2min there was a technician who could immediately help.

To summarize, great staff but the rooms and fitness was unacceptable.
