I’m Diamond for life Hilton, Platinum SPG and Globalist with Hyatt.
Jakarta is a huge city and choosing hotel is as much about location as facilities.
The HYATT - for some of my work - is perfectly placed.
But this last trip was quite “sloppy”.
Seafood served with “digestive sack” still in place.
Invoices provided with 3 big mistakes.
Non existent in room amenities.
Yes - I was upgraded on check in.
But that’s what I am “meant to get” - the fact so many issues occurred and I was there for less than 24 hours isn’t really acceptable.
But - and this is the main reason for the post - I bought these items up to the management and not one has been addressed.
I’ve bought it up to Hyatt central - and nothing has been resolved.
I don’t want compensation - just an assurance the quality will return.
I haven’t received such assurance and so - hence - these comments.
As I started this post - location is everything and, next time, I will probably use one of the myriad of international chains right next door to the Hyatt.
