Best hotel in the city. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Great food. Perfect service. I wish there were more hotels of this kind. My favorite hotel in Asia. Try also the SPA - Balinese herbal massage.

One thing you would find is that the hotel is nicely and strategically located. It is close to Jalan Sudirman and Jalan Thamrin and about half an hour from and to the airport. You would find most of the employees professional and helpful as well as alert all the time which gives you comfort and a sense of security. The lobby is spacious you can meet business colleagues and there is a lobby lounge with nice music if you are a music lover and to meet with colleagues and friends also. There are restaurants with different kinds of cuisines to choose from to have meals with your guests. Rooms are excellent with free internet connection for certain types of rooms. Food is superb, you can find an excellent array of different kinds of foods to nibble at. For you who need to stay fit during your trips, you can find a gym to work out at and a swimming-pool close by. There is also a spa with different kinds of massages you can choose from to make you relax after a busy day. Whatever occassion you have, make sure next time you come in town, stay at Mulia Hotel.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and sunny

I have been a regular guest this this hotel for several years. As a professional who travels extensively, I can confirm that this is a top class hotel in every way. Excellent spa and gym. Good food and superb staff. Very safe. Good place for business, but also for tourism.

Room Tip: Nice to look out on the nearby golf course or stadium

One of the best hotels in Jakarta in terms of service, location, amenities and F&B quality. Stayed at the club floor which offered a complimentary coffee facilities (including mochas, lattes etc), and service was impecable - all the way from checking in to checking out.

Food quality was good and suprisingly affordable for a 5-star hotel - dinner at the top notch Chinese restaurant and room service was much cheaper than any 5-star hotels in the region.

Location-wise, this is one of the better hotels for business travellers. Centrally located in a relatively-traffic jam free area of Jakarta (I know this sounds unbelievable, but it is true).

Room Tip: If you can get the club floor, go for it!

I am a frequent visitor to Asia and can say without hesitation this is the best overall business hotel in Asia. I cannot draw criticism from any aspect of the people or property from check in through to the rooms and right down to laundry service. The business lounge is superb as is the food in the Cafe on the ground floor. Whilst travel for me is no more than a job I do look forward to the Mulia as I feel I am almost home but yet on holiday.

Room Tip: Take the 10% additional cost upgrade if available

With an excellent location, both from business and leaisure point of view.
Like an island in the middle of the caotic traffic of Jakarta.
Excellent facilites, swiming pool is great, bar pool very good.
Rooms as big, well mantained and clean.
Service is smiling, efficient and fast.
Food is very good in some of the restaurants i have visited.
Room for improvement at breakfast time, little too busy and not perfectly organized.
Checking in/out very fast and well done.

Room Tip: Choose the higher floors. the view over Jakarta is very nice.

I go to Jakarta on business nearly every week from KL, spending 3 to 4 days each time in Jakarta. Hotel Mulia is my preferred choice of stay. It is truly 5-star in quality, friendly, clean, cosy, safe and have generally excellent service. Food at their restaurants: Table 8 (Chinese), Edogin (Japanese), and Il Mare (Italian) is usually exquisite, and a good dining experience. For Indian cuisine, I go to The Cafee. The gym is modern, well equipped, sizeable, and neat. The tennis facility is excellent.
Due to it's immense popularity, it can sometimes be over-crowded or be fully booked!

Room Tip: Place your booking early. The Rooms nearer facing the stadium can be noisy when there is a music co...
