This hotel looks little tired in some area.
Standard room is quite spacious.
Their staff is really good.
Breakfast was good with wide option.
location is the great for business and shopping (next to Kota kasablanka Mall)
- Free Parking
Staying 2 nights for business trip. Its offer affordable price in almost everything.
Just realize in the morning that the hotel is next to a big cemetery. It was not a horror view though since it was very neat and clean.
You cannot walk anywhere fe this hotel. Everywhere you go you must be on a car, no interesting place in walking distance.
Worth to try.
Hotel currently undergoing refurbishment and a little tired in some respects, but very helpful and attentive staff make it a pleasure to stay there - if not to get to and from the property.
Having a series of meetings all within about 6km of the hotel (which was why I picked it) traffic generated by a brand new shopping mall up the road (The Kota Casablanca) meant that the road leading to the hotel was choked with queued traffic from the earliest I had to leave (about 8:00am) until the evening (up to 10pm). On my last night, I didn't return until 1:30am and the traffic was clear.
Without wishing to go on about it - one trip of less than 6km back to the hotel in the early evening took over two hours. The traffic issues made a flexible and relaxed timetable (I thought) quite tense and hurried as I had to devote more time to travel needs. Even getting a taxi at the hotel could take 30 minutes.
Other than access, the hotel was very good. Already mentioned friendly and helpful staff, high standards of cleanliness and reasonable breakfast buffet. I also ate twice in the downstairs bar (Stix) and had a great steak both times. Enjoyed the enthusiastic local bands that play after 9:30pm in Stix - but it does mean that there isn't anywhere for a quiet nightcap in the hotel.
An expat friend who had dinner with me on one of the evenings I ate there said he felt the bar was not as busy as he remembered it and put it down to the traffic situation.
I would happily stay in the hotel again, but I would check that the traffic situation had been resolved first.
Location was both good and bad. Hotel was only 45 minutes from airport (because I arrivied on sunday) so you could check in very shortly after arrival. All my trip in Jakarta 4 nights there quiet hotel with was good breakfast and reasonable price. I love their bed and pillows the best. The bed is not hard and the pillows are not too soft. It makes me feel difficult to get out of bed.
If you are budget conscious and want a quiet place to stay, this should be a good choice.
quite nice business hotel, nothing special, now there is just 100 meters away a large shopping center to be reached by foot, for shopping and dining. rooms are still without extra shower, so you have to step in to the bathtub. to be in executive floor with lounge is quite convenient.
After, basically, roughing it on a wet "liveaboard" for 11 days, I "treated" myself to a 5*star hotel on my return to Jakarta, before flying back to US. I booked this hotel, at the airport kiosk (KAHA), and paid almost half price! The taxi from the airport to the hotel was 190,000rp.,and, took about 45mins. on a Sunday afternoon. The return trip, (and, I used a regular blue taxi), cost less, but, due to the horrendous traffic, took 2 hrs on a Wed. afternoon!! I hated leaving so early, for a 7pm flight!! However, the hotel was gorgeous! A great breakfast was included in my price, and, they had another restaurant, pool, gym, spa, and lounge with Happy Hour drinks. My room was lovely..it seemed new...and, my only complaint..too cold!!! There is a huge mall, Puri Casablanca, just a few minutes walk, where I was able to shop, and, eat. I had a massage at the spa, which, was the best one I had my whole trip in Indonesia! (255,000rp) The staff were very friendly and helpful, and, seemed delighted that I was there!! I booked 2 tours from the concierge (this was expensive since I was alone), and, both tours interesting! "Miniature Park Tour" and "Bogor Puncak Country Side Tour". The pool at the hotel was big and very well kept, but, I had only time to "jump" in it!! It is "outside" so, the mosquitos seemed to arrive at dusk. Overall, I was delighted with my choice of hotels, and, highly recommend the Park Lane!!
