Renovated rooms are comfortable and provide everything you need for business travel. Lack of wifi in the room is annoying, but if you've got a laptop, the cable works.
Decent breakfast spread, but doesn't compare with the likes of that at Muliya Senayan.
The Japanese restaurant is great!
Had an issue with a duplicate charge to my card after my stay which I wrote to them about. They checked with their bank and wrote back to say there wasn't a double charge appearing at their end. Was glad to see their manager followed up again with their bank and wrote in another couple of days to clarify that it had been caused by a technical issue at the bank. Points for service!

Many thanks for your review.

Wi fi is expected in all rooms very shortly. Meanwhile for the benefit of readers we can install wi fi in any Guest Room or Suite usually within 5 minutes of being requested.
As for our breakfast buffet we will have to re double our efforts in order to create the most enjoyable breakfasts in Jakarta.

Glad that we were able to communicate the technical issue with the bank and that all was resolved and hoping to welcome you back soon.

It is the greatest hotel that I have stayed. My most impressive is the coffee lounge as it opens 24 hours and you can have a cup of cappuchino at any time you like. Their room, bed, bathroom and other facilities are in exceelent codition. The staffs are friendly and helpul, once you call to receptionist or operators they know and call your name exactly. There are many tyes of foods that you can try such as Indonesian, Mexician, Chinese and Japanese. Internet access, wifi system are also available for business or personal purpose. I like my staying here and wish to be again. Cheer! Ty

Great hotel, excellent customer service, good facilities.

I had a 1 week stay at the Gran Melia in Jakarta for business. The room was comfortable, great bed, spacious with desk for working and a couch.

The pool area was good and not too many people there. Good choice of Japanese, Chinese or buffet restaurants. Good quality safe food.

Wifi coverage within the room was lacking and probably the only complaint. Wired coverage worked fine although the cost of internet seemed a bit steep at ~$15 USD per day. Most hotels of this level would be free.

The rooms were quiet although there's the usual prayer calls audible in the room to a light level. Pretty normal in this part of the world.

Hotel Mulia was recommended by work colleagues after my initial visit i returned the following week due to business

The hotel rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable, the hotel staff very friendly and helpful,

Unfortunately there was no WIFI in my room but the normal cable connections was suffice for emails etc,

Food and beverages throughout the various hotel restaurants was excellent as was the choice of Asian and other international foods on offer

Last but not least the security is tight, before entering the hotel main entrance cars are searched, and luggage x-rayed prior to entering the hotel which is a comforting thought,

This hotel has become my first option on my trips to Jakarta. The refurbishment has put the hotel to another level. Not to mention that security is top too. Gran Melia is a very recognized brand in Europe and they havr done a great job in Jakarta.

The hotel has an amazing Japanesse restaurant, a great buffet breakfast and an exterior swiming pool.

Last trip i took a relaxing massage after my 12 hour flight, it was awesome.

I absolutly recommend this property.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and remembered the rooms to be a little threadbare, but it seems to have had some renovation done recently and the rooms are now really nice. The spa was very good (and empty), the bar had no atmosphere.

Fine hotel at high price. My wife & I spent a wonderful 3 nights. The rooms are well appointed, the service excellent, and the beds oh so comfortable. My only complaint is that there have no WIFI in my room but the normal internet cable. I travel with an iPad so the internet connection was useless. Food at the restaurant was good.
