Shangri-La Jakarta has always been my first choice ever since I stayed with them for the first time. Their hospitality is flawless and immaculate, especially the Horizon Club floors. This truly defines the Shangri-La branding with their impeccable service and undivided attention to every guests, making us feel really at home and well taken care of.

Rooms are great. Huge beds and comfortable linens. Nice and clean bathrooms. Top notch amenities makes a really comfortable stay here with Shangri-La especially after a tiring day exploring the city and one needs to retire for the night.

Room Service is equally excellent and efficient. Orders were taken fast and delivered to your room without a long wait. The only thing they need to improve on is the immediate response from guests as they called room service. Had to call them three times before the line got through but I would assume there were others who were requesting for orders at the same time. But the smooth and efficient delivery to the room makes a perfect recovery to the minor flaws they had earlier so everything is forgiven. No other complaints about them. Quality of food is also good, delicious menu and nice set up. Must compliment their creativity and attention to details.

Breakfast was at the Horizon Lounge. Had cravings for Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) but unfortunately, the dish was not reflected in the menu for the day but the staff was kind enough to make that as a request and they had my nasi goreng served on my table when I came in. Was caught by surprise that they actually remembered my request which was actually made as a passing comment on the phone previously. They took customer's concern and request seriously. Such efforts are commendable.

Will definitely return again the next time. There is no longer a need to look further as I have already been charmed by this urban oasis of the cosmopolitan city. For those who seek excellent hospitality, do consider Shangri-La Jakarta the next time you make your travel plans to Jakarta and try to go for their Horizon Club rooms. Yes, no doubt it will be above the average in terms of price and budget but you really find it worth the money and no regrets.

Did not manage to try the Chi Spa though. So I had no comments about the hotel spa facilities.

Thank You Shangri-La for that excellent stay.

I was at the Singapore Shangri-La the day before. I didnt think Jakarta could live up to the same standard. But I loved it. The hotel room was beautiful and the service was wonderful. Jakarta is a crazy place but the ShangrilLa is a sanctuary

Location of the hotel is very "central" of the city, although not have any next door shopping center or bars, still convienent to go to CBD areas. Nice range of choices on food provided for the breakfast. Indonesian food selection provided for dinner ordering is also good to try. Quiet room. Provided warm/cold water and apply in Gym. Apparently not a new hotel but a comfort one.

After many stays at this Hotel, every time I arrive the feeling is so comfortable to be amongst people like caring family. It all begins at the airport meet and greet, drivers,blue bird team, concierge, security, guest relation and the Star Attraction Horizon Club Family led by Ruth Margaretha Putri and colleagues Chef Marlina, Yuli, Anggun, Nia, Triana, Grace, Ulla, Nico, Andry, Eko, Hendra, Ronal, Robert, Arif, Dayat, Sugi all groomed to perfection, exceptional personalities and people skills taking care of all your needs. Do not miss evening Cocktails and Canapes in cozy lounge. New Blu Lounge looks to be a winner with vibrant lighting, music and staff looking like elegant models. Swimming pool is huge with beautiful garden surroundings, comfortable furniture and hard working staff. Health Club has everything, latest gymnasium equipment and spa. Bats downstairs great western cuisine and entertainment with support from Elsha, Dini and Dian. Various restaurants with cuisine to suit all tastes.

This hotel is a classical hotel, amazing good service, staff speaks excellent English, breakfast one if not the best spread I have seen with great quality. Had dinner in Sato too and again great experience. Rooms a very spacious and very well designed. Lobby bar great selection of cocktails and afternoon tea, B.A.T.S bar is still going well , same as Mulia, a place with foreigners and local ladies but bands usually are great. Love this hotel and always would stay there if possible

I stayed 1 night and the service was very good, almost perfect. The room on the 23rd floor gives you access to the Horizon Lounge. This is a very cozy place with free Wifi access and free newspapers for your tablet or your Laptop (Newspapers from all over the world). The best thing about this place is the food which delicious. They have a selection of cheeses and bread which is quite rare in Indonesia. I also liked the room which had a nice view on Jakarta skyline. I will definitely recommend this Hotel and the lounge area

Room Tip: go on the 23rd floor, that's where the horizon lounge is located

Excellent hotel,very clean room,excellent service by Sugi,Grace,Ruth,Ulla,Andri,Dayat,Hendra,Anggun,and Yuli in Horizon Club .free internet access with high speed connection.excellent sport facilities (swimmingpool,gym,tennis court,etc).
