I am staying at least once every quarter for business and i would say that this small size hotel makes their staff more attentive to your needs. A bit tired of the oversized hotels like Starwood and Shangri-La where i am member, it's a great pleasure to stay in ALILA everytime i travel to Jakarta. Everything is done to make me feel at home. Very effective express laundry/pressing service whatever the time of the day you give it. In Room dining very good and you will find nice food/drinks at the executive lounge. Brand new Club Suite Rooms brings you high level of comfort, offering a better quality/price than Shangri La or Starwood hotels... I experienced ALILA spa with my wife on personal stay and we were delighted !

Room Tip: I recommend to book Executive and Club Suite rooms

Good value hotel, clean and modern. Just 15 minutes to Grand Indonesia (if there's no traffic) and business areas. The bed is very comfortable and it is essential for me to have a good bed for a good sleep. Unfortunately, the AC has a strong noise and i prefer to turn it off before to sleep. Other negative point as a female guest is no hairdryer. Breakfast is ok but the hash brown is too cooked. Fried rice and fried noodles are not so tasty.

The hotel room, service of the staff, food & restaurants are very good. Its a relatively new hotel compared to the other ones in Jakarta. The rooms is well lit, has all the amenties we need and great internet.

The only problem is the hotel is located in a slightly older part of Jakarta. If you want to eat, you have to chose the hotel restaurants or take a taxi to the happening part of Jakarta which is not too far (15 min if no traffic) But Jakarta traffic is unreliable.

Stayed here for two days when flying into and out of Indonesia. Boutique style hotel simple, clean fresh looking place. Nice pool area and rooms were good value for money. We got a room upgrade on the return stay as the room we were offered had just been painted and we didnt like it so we were offered another one slightly better quality which we were happy with. this place does a great breakfast and seems to be busy with locals and business people too. Goto the Shanghai Storm restaurant in the hotel we went there twice for dinner and each time really enjoyed the food and ambience. Hotel is a bit out of the way is the only thing and seems to take forever to get around in a taxi, but i think this is just a Jakarta thing as the roads are so busy and jammed. Takea about 2 hours from the airport in congestion.

I liked this hotel very much and it’s really everything you need from a City hotel, good modern design, efficient service, central location and very good value for what you get. Boy, Jakarta has changed.
