I stayed here for 3 nights to attend business meetings taking place here--price good, and good Service is good, clean hotel friendly staff.

Highlights: large, clear rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Recently renovated. Great selection of sports channels. Pretty good open air swimming pool. Great choice of pastries in the coffee corner in the lobby. Couple of restaurants in the hotel if you don´t feel like venturing in themaze outside (did not try). Situated within walking distance of a couple of shopping malls. Overall good value, you should not be disappointed.
Lowlights: Business center was hugely disappoining (only 1 Desktop - Internet connexion and prining a page are all extras). Nice but really slow staff, English knowledge a problem unless you speak really slow. 1 day my room was not tidied, but was fixed it within 10 minutes upon escalation.

Im a local people(jakarta) but 4 times here (from 2011- may 2012) for business purpose (Arranged by the company i work at)
(+) walking distance to shopping places and 10 minutes drive to wholesale IT Mall and Wholesale Fashion Mall (ITC Mangga dua and Harco Mangga dua)
(+) 20 minute from Dunia Fantasi Ancol Bay (tourist attraction)
(+) i didnt find any difficulties or long que at the reception, they serve me well, informative an fast

(-) staff at the banquet meeting room is not helpful (Lavender room) i need to ask several times to get a pen as this stationary usually provided!
(-) staff at the swissbel cafe, the place where i take breakfast, lunch and dinner also not responsive.. not even asking permission to take my almost-empty plate, i have to ask and wait and ask again only for a glass of water and spoon.. and not apologize at all making me waiting for that long and this is happened to my other work-mates in the same time
(-) by the four times in this hotel i never experience the bad smell of the bath room (Sewerage smell) room 2209
(-) i found a room lack of light, and the wall painted black! (it just a matter of taste, i know!)

Room Tip: - do not choose room 2209, bad smell from the bath room - request for higher level floors for bette...

Check in was quite dreadful. Long queue, two staff on desk, five staff milling around in the lobby unaware of how to assist, Not a good first impression especially with kids in tow.
Half an hour later you get your keypass but then no bell boy to transport luggage to the room. So you end up carrying four pieces whilst pushing a fed up child in their pushchair to the lift.
There were more staff manning a security check than there were to assist hotel guests, yet on entering the hotel the security detection failed to pick up the phone, ipod and keys i was carrying.

As to the room: comfortable bed, standard bathroom with a powerful shower. You will have to ask for a small fridge as the minibar is not stocked and ours didnt work - so if you can put up with someone installing this and removing the old one whilst you unpack you will be fine.


Wife tried the massage and was very disappointed.

The breakfast however was varied and the kids loved the selection and the staff were friendly and responsive.

Room Tip: If you like darkened rooms to sleep you might be disappointed if you are in an Eastern side as the b...

Overall, stay was good but what upset me is, I have to wait for almost 1 1/2 hours to check-into the room, thats because, room was not ready. Anyway, was given welcome drink while waiting.

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel from 29th April - 2nd May, and we must say that this hotel is beyond our expectations. The service are excellent and the staff never failed to greet us with a smile. The food is delicious and the spa is wonderful (request for Astri, she is a great masseuse). Our room is spacious and the bed is really comfy. The bathroom is clean and thick towels are provided. Our room view (room 1102) is facing the "kampong" houses which is surprisingly very relaxing in the morning with a cup of coffee. Check-in is a breeze. We arrived at 12.30 and they gave us the key immediately. The only downside is the area. I must say that this great hotel is located in the slums and i would recommend to go anywhere using a metered taxi. We always request taxis from the concierge. Overall, we are extremely happy during our stay and strongly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Jakarta.

My husband & I stayed in Swiss-Bel for 4 nights in March. And I can say it was a nice comforting stay.

This hotel is spacious, from the lobby to the corridors to the elevators to the room itself.
Beds & pillows were comfortable.
We liked the free WIFI, using a username & password but it was useful for more than a device.
It was really nice to have a high floor. We stayed at the 25th.

On scale of heavy traffic in Jakarta, this hotel is in a medium traffic area. 5-10 min walk to Mangga Dua Shopping center & Carrefour. It was good. Also, the area of the hotel is not walking friendly that much. We walked but it wasn't encouraging, not like the area of CBD. However, it's really easy to take a taxi in front of this hotel.

The concierge were very helpful especially in booking tours.
The hotel provided a good selection of English TV entertaining channels.

We didn't like the smell of the small river in front of the hotel. it can be smelled only outside of the hotel, but it wasn't nice.
Also, the refrigerator was locked when we got to the room, and we had to ask for someone to open it.

Well, this is a very good hotel for value for money and the centered location.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better. In the 25th floor, we could hear some of the traffic in the street...
