Sate Khas Senayan is my favorite for high-class traditional Indonesian food. I love nasi uduk here. rice was tasty, with traditional fried chicken, tofu, tempe, and sambal. portion was big. price is actually a little expensive for foods that you can find easily across the street. but you get something that's not available outside, like service and nuisance.

I went to the FX Lifestyle Xnter branch of Sate Khas Senayan.

I think it is the perfect place to hold a meeting since it is located at the heart of Jakarta, without experiencing the dreaded traffic jam.

The food itself was above average (for its slightly premium price) with the highlight of Sate Ayam Campur Bumbu Blora. They also had a nice soft shell crab (deep fried) and a nice selection of beverages.

for foreigners and locals alike, this is the place to enjoy genuine Indonesian cuisine at affordable price and a nice interior which is modern minimalist with a touch of Indonesian art. One thing to note is that they tend to over burn the sate so must forewarn them in advance while ordering.

The place is nice and they serve satay in hotplate so its stay hot after a while. The peanut sauce is very smooth and different from the common satay you can find on street vendors.
