This is one of the best museums around! It shows a great financial history of Indonesia and has a nice collection of coins/paper currency used over the years. The signs are all local language + English so it is easy for foreign visitors to appreciate it.
Very well done museum and surprisingly free!
In addition, be sure to visit the Museum Bank Mandiri, which is right around the corner. While this one has no English signage, it is still worth a visit because of the interesting displays, such as old tabulating machines, telexes and a variety of early banking equipment.
