I believe that you can always tell a great ethnic restaurant when you find that ethnicity well represented in the clientele, and that is very true in this case. Had dinner with a business colleague, and although it started slowly it soon filled with a throng of what appeared to be Chinese and western diners. Not a relaxed restaurant for an early dinner - plenty of coming and going but probably that was a function of its location near a busy entrance of a busy mall downstairs from the Grand Hyatt, but nevertheless not too distracting - we could still enjoy conversation in a normal voice.
My colleague was not a great fan of Chinese food, but loved it on this occasion. Hot and sour soup was balanced, the duck was crispy and not at all greasy. I'll definitely go there again; I often stay at the adjacent Grand Hyatt and this is a welcome change to their otherwise great food outlets.
