Ok, so normally I don't have a high expectation of what dining is going to be when in a shopping mall but, we were hungry and looking for something to eat when we ended up outside Salvador just at the right moment. One of the staff walked out with a meal that not only looked good but it had the most delicious aroma. As the staff member came back we stopped them and asked what it was, it was the Mie hotplate seafood and we ended up ordering it as we were both hungry and it had tempted us to go inside.
Well, it was a perfect choice and it was very tasty, a pleasant change from what I as a westerner would expect to eat in a shopping mall area, Indonesia certainly puts Perth to shame in this regard. Freshly cooked, delicious meals served hot and a far cry from the horrors of food warmers.
So, two dishes, two glasses of wine (on special) and a bottle of water for (at the time) $10.80?? Bargain!
So if you're shopping at the Galleria and are not sure where to eat when the hunger bug nips you, try Salvadore especially if you like Asian cooking.
