We came across Queen's following a dance/music performance at the Palace and had the most enjoyable delicious Indian meal. Once you have ordered they bring you some papadoms and sauces (on the house). We ordered the butter chicken, which without a doubt was the best butter chicken we have ever had. Also the chicken korma, equally as delicious, and saffron rice. They are very generous with the amount of chicken in each dish. The waitress also asked how spicy we wanted our meals and they arrived with the spices just perfect. We had buttered/garlic and Mixed Herb Naan breads and all were soft and very good. A couple of cold beers and then iced coffee made the evening complete.
Service was fast and the staff were very friendly. It is obviously a popular place as it was later in the evening, yet was still quite busy.
The menu is extensive. Prices reasonable, but slightly higher than other restaurants in Ubud (but well worth the extra). Portions large. They also do take out and delivery. The restaurant is covered but is open air style, so it was nice and cool in the evening.
We went away feeling very satisfied and full. Should we ever return to Ubud it will be the first restaurant that we go to.

This is the first time I ate in Queens of India, I normally always eat at their main restaurant in Kuta Queens Tandoor or always have their martabak during the food festivals. They are indeed consistent with their yummieness! Veg samosas, Veg Biryani, cheese naan, garlic naan, chicken hydrabadi, the Harra Bhara Kebab is THE BEST! their tikka and paneer are the best, and the mango lassi is yummie! Staffs are helpful and nice. great experience, for sure we're coming back!

We stumble upon this restaurant by luck. We just got dropped off by one of the shuttles from Padang bai and we were very hungry and looking for something to eat. We ordered the Lamb biryani and the mutton curry with herb garlic naan and butter chicken with garlic naan, we weren't expecting much but we got some papadoms with three different sauces as an appetizers (it was very tasty). Now the mind blowing food was the biryani, we have had lamb biryani multiple times in different places but let me tell you, Queen's of India got this one right, if you are not fond of spicy food (then why are you eating Indian food?) the staff will ask you about how spicy do you want it or you can ask them for none or a little bit spicy. We weren't able to finish our meal since it was way more that we could handle (the eye is bigger than the stomach) but the staff was more than willing pack it to go for us. They aren't cheap with the amount of chicken or lamb you get on your meal either. Needless to say we went back during our trip of three days to Ubud.
