We didn't join a tour, so I needed to read the fine details to know the stories of the exhibit! Since I am interested in history, it was an impressive place! There were lots of people and we needed to sit down a few times before moving on to cover the whole place. It took us 1.5-2 hour to see the whole place!

I enjoyed the Palace. It is large and does require a bit of time though. More than I expected. It's a short walk off of the number 2 metro line.

The photos and period furniture really bring back the period of the mid 20th century, and th history that was made here by the key players in modern China.
