Eating at flying pan has rekindled my long lost love affair with eggs. the eggs florentine just came together perfectly- bacon, spinach and that hollandaise sauce! perfect start to the day. a bit of a search as it's a hole in the wall, but tourists armed with GPS should have no problem finding this. one of the best brekkie places i've tried.

The Flying Pan is a nice place to get a hearty breakfast. It is your classic greasy spoon, nothing fancy, just good food. Space is tight, so it can be a bit noisy, but we ended up chatting to the folks at the table next to us which was fun. For a good breakfast this is the place to go.

If you love a good full English breakfast, you cant go wrong here. The portions are massive but filling, i love the bottomless coffee pot and free jam with your toast. A few negatives on my last visit are that the so called britsh sausages are anything but, they could easily walk down the street and get some proper sausages fron the local supermarket but instead choose to serve inedible plastic miniture banger. Another point to remember is if you like butter on your toast is to ask for a pot, i honestly couldnt tell and asked for some and amusingly the waitress there is some on the toast already, i actually laughed out loud. The eggs benedict are amazing and having them as a combo with salad and juice is a real bargain. I will always return when im in hongkong as its in a fantastic area.

The concept is simple and the food is delicious. However on Sunday it gets quite crowded and you'd need literally to line up in front of the door and wait, wait, waiiiit... try this one another day of the week, Saturday is a good day for it.
