“Stunning views and excellent food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

The evening was most memorable with spectacular view, exquisite food and tentative service. Wish the management could tune down the music a little to allow conversations be heard and save us having to yell out at each other but all in all it was a very enjoyable experience.

“Fun if you keep it cheap”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

I pay for my own meals so would probably not be here for a full meal it is fair to say. We came for the supper menu, served after ten as a post-concert option, and came as much for the ambience as the food, which was as well as the only real man-food was steak and chips, which was fine as regards the meat but poor in respect of the cold fries and lukewarm roast veg. But, hey, the lift with subdued lighting whisked you to the thirtieth floor, the subtly lit, designer dining room was almost as theatrical as the Hong Kong harbour night outside the vast window and the women waiting-on in flowing gauzy skirts were worthy of this set and balanced the dressed down Russian money nearby. We got the spotty youth in training but it was all we cheapskates deserved and we were able to make an entrance across this glorious stage. Fun, as I say, if you keep it cheap.

“Fantastic Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

Loved this restaurant, firstly the food was fantastic. Best Fillet beef I have had in some time! Wine is a little on the high side. We arrived in good time for a cocktail by the window for the Light Show across the harbour at 8pm! The atmosphere is set perfectly from the moment you enter the lift on the ground floor! No visit to Felix is complete with out a visit to the bathroom!

“What when wrong with Felix at The Peninsula?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

Almost everything! The greeting at the restaurant was cold and a bit as a matter of fact. The gentleman who walked us to our table did not hide his disapproval when we dare disagreed with the table they had chosen for us and instead of offering support he was quick to let us know that even though we had made a reservation four weeks in advance we were lucky to get one table by the window none less that the magnificent view was hiding behind a huge pillar. I must said my food was excellent however my companion couldn't finish any of her courses. The chairs are uncomfortable, and you lean over your table all dinner long, may be the idea is to get you in and out as soon as possible to get another costumer in. Hmmm.... Kind of fast food stile...

“Horrid”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

This pretentious restaurant is located in the superb Peninsula hotel with a superb view. The staff attitude from the get go was that we were lucky to be there and lucky for them to serve us. After having an argument with the young man that seated us in a bad table stuck in a corner in front of a large outside pillard, we finally got a half decent table with a four week reservation. The service was rushed and it was obvious that the mantra is get them in and out as quick as possible. The food was mediocre and I did not finish my lobster bouillon or tuna. The Maitre D Pedro not inviting at all. The uncomfortable chairs forced everyone to sit at the edge of their seat. Another testament to their wish to get us in an out of there. I think we broke our record for quickest fine dining experience. Expensive and not good value for money at all. Avoid at all cost.
