I had good memories of this restaurant when I first visited it back in 2007. For Christmas 2013, I had literally dragged my husband to this restaurant because I had such fond memories of it. What a disaster! My friend also came along for this lunch so it was the three of us. The dimsum, though was good, was definitely overpriced. We ordered about maybe 10 dishes in all and had Chinese tea for our drink, but the total bill came out to about 1,400 HKD!!! Jeeeeez!!! I swear I am never going back there ever again for such average dimsum! Save your money!!

Arrived late afternoon and the restaurant was very quiet with only three tables occupied. Our table had a fantastic view over Hong Kong which only got better as the sun set and the myriad twinkling lights appeared. Had the set menu for 880 dollars for two. Mixed cold starters comprised jellyfish, terrine and roast pork. This was followed by sharks fin soup and another spicy soup. Mains were scallops with squid and spicy minced pork with bean curd, other choices were available. Dessert was mango with coconut. All the food was tasty and well presented. Service was efficient and friendly and we thought it was all good value given the location.

After taking the usual photos from the top viewing area on top of the restaurants and souvenir shops my wife and I decided to select a nice restaurant to sit down and relax instead of the quick take away, we found the Tien Yi Chinese Restaurant within the building and decided to give it ago, the time was 12:45 {lunch time}As we entered the building we were greeted and shown to our nice table with a view, the air conditioning was working well thank goodness we were able to cool off, the waiter then took our order and proceeded off to the kitchen. Now at this point I wish to add the restaurant only had one other couple dining. So after only ordering a couple of dim sum and a steamed vegetables and a cool drink we wondered why after some 20 minutes our food and drinks had not arrived I decided to go and see what was happening. You wont believe it all the staff were at the back of the restaurant having there lunch, now once they were caught in the act our meals came without delay, to sum the restaurant up
Great view, nice air conditioning, terrible service, just average pre cooked dim sum I would try somewhere else in the building to eat.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my partner expecting an unforgettable evening while enjoying the wonderful views of the bay. finally I could not enjoy any of the 2 things.if are you planning to have dinner at the peak we recommend you another restaurants and you will avoid bad service plus overvalued food.
we arrived 10 minutes late according reservation we had done. to our surprise there was only 4/5 tables with customers. The rest of the restaurant was totally empty. As soon as we were seated, the waiter give us menus and time to decide what we want to drink. When we decide the wine, waiter said to us that wine was runned out and he left with suggest anything else. Later on, we ordered 2 startes ( totally rip off ) and 2 main course, me a lobster and my partner fish with rice. We were suprided when they served rice first and and startes. Afterwards they serve lobster that we shared because we never received the fish. They completely forgot and when we request it, they shout each other in chinesse and he said fish is coming. 30 minutes later of finishing our lobster we decided ask for the bill, and speak with the manager. Due to bad service we remove service change and they never apologized for the mistakes and lateness. I recommend you that if you want good service and good food never never never go to this restaurant. There is many places cheaper and with better service where you can have dinner and celebrate important event in your life. And the worst part is they don't care or seems like
