Hoi On Cafe is one of the few old Hong Kong style cafes which is still operating nicely in the territory. With well preserved 1950s design and layouts, this small cafe brings you back to the old days with many traditional Hong Kong cafe foods. While this cafe embraces a 1950s design, the environment is clean and tidy. The staff are generally nice and helpful. The food are nice and of good standard for a local Hong Kong style cafe. Some of the local dishes are also suitably modified to please the younger generations. In gist, this is a very interesting cafe to experience the style of 1950s Hong Kong cafe. Since the cafe locates near the Macao-HK pier in Sheung Wan, it will be a good choice for a lunch or breakfast before getting on board !
Note that this is a rather small cafe, so you may need to share table with others during the busy hours, especially on Saturday afternoon (This family run cafe does not open on Sunday and Public Holidays !).
