Description: This stunning two-Michelin starred restaurant, situated on the 25th floor, is Pierre Gagnaire's pied a terre in Hong Kong. It is here that diners can experience outstanding modern French cuisine in a stunning environment. With a culinary team led by Gagnaire's protege, Jean Denis Le Bras, diners can expect creative interpretations of classic dishes with seductive flavours that are truly worthy of their two Michelin-stars. A vision of contemporary luxury, Pierre's decor incorporates luxurious fabrics in a mixture of charcoal, cherry, blue and black highlighted with silver and crystal. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views over Victoria Harbour while the central chandelier changes colour to suit the mood. Atmospheric, dramatic and very chic, it's the perfect setting in which to enjoy phenomenal cuisine.

“Lunch time menu was good but not excellent”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

I dined at Pierre this lunch time and had the express lunch menu. The menu had a good, varied choice. To start I had the four meats pate which wasn't in my opinion, two michelin star standard. I found that I did not like the crust as it just tasted like limp filo pastry. I had the lamp chop for my main which was again, good but not excellent. I thought that there was an element missing to the dish. My dessert, the baba, was excellent.

The service was as it should be, polite and attentive yet not invasive.

I found that the total bill for one three course lunch and a glass (175ml) of wine came to 800 HKD which I found a little steep but I find that HK is in general.

The addition of complimentary canapes and after meal petits fours was a nice addition.

“Superb experience”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

Had a business dinner here and it was the perfect surroundings for a private conversation while enjoying the spectacular food.
First thing you notice is the fantastic view of the bay and the calm and relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant.
We all got a magnificent Caviar dish for starter and a supremely well made steak for main. All was accompanied with very creative sides and there was not a single thing that was not top level. Even the potato icecream was surprisingly good.

“Extremely good”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

I had not been at Pierre for a while, and I noticed they had taken the wise decision to separate Ma Bar from the Restaurant, so that the latter is now cozy and quiet. Service attentive, but not invasive. As for the food, the usual great experience. Wine list is focused mainly on French wine (very few Italian in the list), but overall very good. Price is a little bit extreme (GBP 200 each), and it would make difficult for many people to visit the place often.

“Truffle extravaganza, with Pierre himself!”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

Wow. Well yes, it was a special occassion. We were fortunate to meet Pierre, who was in Hong Kong for one of his two annual trips. His special celebration dish was of black truffle, in almost every dish. The service was really good, the ambience was lovely and views across hong kong was as always fascinating. In hindsight, we should have gone for the 'normal' menu, as I am not that big a truffle fan...however the dishes were superb. The somelier gave good advice on a nice white wine too. A stunning evening, great company, food, wine, restaurant, slightly balanced out when I got the bill (also truly staggering...and that was without the modest wine!)
Go for a truly special occassion

“Excellent”

I love this restaurant, great views, well spaced tables and the most spoiling menu. It is difficult to know what to choose. The service needless to say is immaculate.
