Description: This stunning two-Michelin starred restaurant, situated on the 25th floor, is Pierre Gagnaire's pied a terre in Hong Kong. It is here that diners can experience outstanding modern French cuisine in a stunning environment. With a culinary team led by Gagnaire's protege, Jean Denis Le Bras, diners can expect creative interpretations of classic dishes with seductive flavours that are truly worthy of their two Michelin-stars. A vision of contemporary luxury, Pierre's decor incorporates luxurious fabrics in a mixture of charcoal, cherry, blue and black highlighted with silver and crystal. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views over Victoria Harbour while the central chandelier changes colour to suit the mood. Atmospheric, dramatic and very chic, it's the perfect setting in which to enjoy phenomenal cuisine.

“Very good, a bit small portions”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

Was there for Business lunch. Very good service, attentive, friendly, even a bit too much. Food was delicious, set-lunch menu fairly priced. Nothing to complain about except the size of the portions. Yes, it's fine French cuisine, yes you are a Pierre's and yes, eyes also need to be pleased. But still, without bread you would leave hungry. Saying this, it was still a very nice experience

“Yum!”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Excellent afternoon tea with the lovely stacked presentation and plenty of hot tea. A child at the next table knocked over their food, and it was all tidied promptly with no fuss and quick replacement. Very professional.

“Great venue for a romantic evening on a special occasion”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

The restaurant has a beautiful decor, with fantastic views of the harbour (But it's not easy to get a window table... So you need to book a table well in advance and tell them it's a special occasion). All the tables have a very private feel, making it ideal for a romantic evening out.
We started off with some rose champagne from the cart (there are five champagnes on offer). There was a seven course degustation menu priced at about HKD 1600 a head (about 2600 with a pairing of 6 wines)... But since none of the courses offered any choice, we decided to go for the ala carte menu. The complimentary amuse bouche platter was excellent- consisting of seven bite-sized hors d'oeuvres. For appetizers, we shared a perfume of the earth...which was okay. The John Dory and Black Truffle main was very good, as was the Beef tenderloin.
The service was very courteous and attentive throughout. Each dish was presented well, with the waiter explaning the various plates in detail. The only glitch was that they served us a different vintage of the wine than what we had ordered....when we pointed it out, the waiter explained that he had picked up a newly delivered bottle. However they were apologetic about it, and offered to get us the right bottle. Since we refused, they served us some complimentary wine along with our dessert. We received a small cake (as do all diners) to takeaway as we were leaving the restaurant. For a glass of champagne each, a bottle of wine, an appetizer, two mains and a dessert, the total was about HKD 4500.
The reason for less than 5 stars - I would have really have liked some more choices on the menu, though I can understand the reason for the limited choices as all the dishes are fairly complex, consisting of at least 3 different plates.

“Other guests ruined my experience”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

Food, wine, servers ... Excellent
Management ... Horrible
A nearby table was being loud, which is bearable .... However the lack of vocabulary was uncalled for and went on during my entire dining experience ... I advised the server and manager, however nothing changed / improved
