“Best Cantonese Style Seafood & Many More!!!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

This is the place for you, if you want wonderful seafood dishes in Cantonese style (steamed whole fish and stirred fried crabs in ginger & scallion sauce, etc.; and, of course, fresh & live before cooking) and impecable service to impress your guests. It also offers terrific Peking ducks, roasted baby pig, dim sum and many more plus modern style Cantonese dishes. Being a part of an international hotel, they offer all kind of drinks, wine (Chinese, French,....), cokcktails, international beer, juice and of couse, many types of Chinese tea. It's one of my favorites; and sometime, I eat here 2-3 times in a week.

“Great non-traditional dim sum dishes”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

This was a nice change in pace from all the local-type dim sum places I visited during my Hong Kong trip. The ambiance and service are great! But to be honest, their traditional dim sum dishes are just okay. Some of their more special dishes—roast baby pig, ham hock…basically anything you wouldn't find on your average dim sum menu—are great though! I say go here for the experience, but if you want delicious and traditional dim sum fare, go to a local spot that might by lacking in decor but will more than make up for it in food.

Wonderful restaurant, good ambiance and service. Very nice dishes and good quality for money. Atmosphere both suitable for private occasion, or a business dinner. Waiter did his utmost to recommend and delivered an excellent service!

“Good Venue for Business Lunch”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

Wanted to find a decent place to have a business lunch with a visiting colleague. To my surprise, the usual places for executive lunches are all but gone from Tsimshatsui. Most of hotels that once served 'executive lunch' no longer have it, instead the choice lies between noisy buffets or Chinese restaurants. Leaving me with few options, I had to settle for somewhere that could give me the ambience and hours for a long lunch with a business partner from overseas. I chose Celestial Court as I have had some decent meals there before.

The booking was a breeze, with immediate confirmation by SMS and a reminder on the morning as well - both pretty nice gesture, instead of the usual practice of having someone calling to 'check' if the booking is genuine.

Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was mostly filled with people who didn't seem to be in any particular hurry. This kind of turned the atmosphere into something more casual as the conversations were less discrete and laughters loud and slightly disturbing. Not conducive to the atmosphere of a proper business lunch. Apart from that, the service was attentive and the decor pleasant.

The food was good enough for a hotel restaurant of that calibre. The dim sum dishes were top grade and portion generous. None of them really stood out and yet none of them were disappointing.

All in all, it was a good lunch - great venue, good food and competitive prices.
