“Good option for mall dining, don't seek out, but ok if nearby”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

The atmosphere is laking. Good place for families or others who happen to be in the mall and hungry. The dim sum is good, as were the veggies, and noodles. Bbq pork was only so-so, too chewy, not the crsipy flavorful skin one expects. The service is rushed and a bit inattentive. In the middle of ordering our waitress felt we were ordering to slow and said she would be back and went to another table without asking. We know what we wanted, we just weren's saying it quick enough! All in all an ok meal if that is all you have time or money for.

“Elegant Tea-House Restaurant”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

This place is well known for lighter fare, mostly contemporary and Southern Chinese, but with a wider selection of teas than are normally found. Try Green Snail Spring Tea (BikLoChun in Cantonese) - but don't worry, there are no snails in there! The tea leaves are supposed to resemble snails when they unfurl.

“One to miss”
Reviewed December 12, 2008

I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars purely on the fact that the food is delicious and the chef deserves some credit but that is where the positives end.

On arriving at the restaurant we were made to feel that they were going to have to go out of their way to accommodate us even though we arrived early and the place was not even a quarter full. Once seated we were completely forgotten about as people came and were served immediately. After a good 5 times of asking for someone to take our order we finally got some service.

We ordered a range of dim sum and it was all very good to be fair especially the shrimp dumplings which were stunning.

Once we had finished our meal we fought to get the bill and once we did we noticed that we had hot water and tea listed although we ordered neither and were actually quite put off that we were not brought Chinese tea as the rest of the tables were. Once we pointed this out to the waitress our bill came back even higher than before and they had decided to remove these items but tack on some pickled fruit that was not previously on the bill and came in at around the same price as one of our dishes even though we had not ordered it and left it assuming that the restaurant put this on the table for everyone complimentary. Clearly not.

Although the food was good I would not touch this restaurant with a barge pole. Perhaps if you are a regular from the financial organizations within the same building and come in a group of about 10 they might care for your custom but even then I doubt it. Real shame as the place is really very nice and the food was of a good standard.
