If you book ahead you can book a window seat which is really worth it! The view is outstanding at night - simply takes your breath away.

The food is good - I had some great noodles and the desserts are amazing but it's for the view that you go.

You're probably best taking a taxi to the top as you don't get any special queue jumping to go up on the tram - even if you are booked for dinner.

Deco Cafe was always my preferred restaurant for dinner or just for a coffee and cake when being on the peak. Unfortunately the Deco Cafe has renovated - for some time now - and I am questioning what was actually changed to the good?!
The outside area is closed off now and they don't serve there any more. Most of the menu did only change marginally with one big change - the excellent German Cheesecake was taken off the menu and replaced by a horrible tasting, small cake - still called German Cheesecake - what a disappointment. On top of that they considerably increased the prices.

On Saturday I had the best experience of being ignored at the Peak Galleria restaurant. It was my daughter's 11th birthday and a trip to the Peak was her present. On approaching the grand restaurant at 11:10, I asked if it was open, and the response was Yes. They then asked if i had a booking, I said no. I didn't think it would matter as the restaurant was practically empty, with one table occupred.

I was told to wait. I waited for 5 min and nothing happened, and so approached again, and then asked if i had a reservation - again! I asked is it important as the restaurant was empty. They told me to wait again! I got pissed off after that and just left.

The waitors were just dis-interested and for quite an expensive restaurant, expected much better. At least a Smile would have helped

If you intend to go this restaurant, don't arrived at opening time. Even with 10 waitors and an empty reataurant they can't handle it.

Food was good, nice variety, I went for a corporate function that took over the restaurant. It was all buffet. Selection was excellent. Flavor was just average. Views are what you come here for - amazing!! I would recommend stopping in here for a drink & app while enjoying the view on the top of the peak.
