spotted this small - 20 seat - restaurant in Happy Valley HK - was reviewed in South China Morning Post - had dinner for 5 last Saturday - yes it is a 1 star Michelin - and delicious little place which has not been discovered by tourists - signature dish by Mr. Pang the owner is 'sweet and sour pork with strawberries' and yes it works! this is not the Ritz but for some great Cantonese food you can't miss IF you can get a table! very reasonably priced as of this date Bravo Mr. Pang!

Great selection of dishes would certainly recommend the pork with strawberries and the fried rice with prawns.

Thanks to the other reviewers for pointing out this little gem. I just asked for the specialties & in order - fried garlic chicken was awesome. Sweet & sour strawberry pork was really cool & salt & pepper squid was authentic. Resto was packed even on a Monday night. Definitely worth the visit if you are staying in the area. Go mix with the locals :)

Went here on the reco of a friend who lives in Hong Kong before the races at Happy Valley. The owners seemed a bit surprised to see us, the only non-Chinese there. The crispy garlic chicken was yummy. Ditto the sesame-coated, wok fried shrimp. Really inexpensive and goood, and a 5 minute walt to the entrance to the Happy Valley Race Course

Yes. As the name indicates, it is of the real taste of a family like kitchen. A good place for 3 - 4 close friends' gathering and dining.
