When I'm in Hong Kong or Southern China this is my top choice for fast food. I have to admit that I haven't tried much of the menu because I just have to order the baked pork chop every time I visit. The portions are large and the prices are low. The place is always packed with locals so you know it is good.

Cafe de Coral is sort of like the 'McDonald's' of Hong Kong; but from the perspective of lots of locations, food prepared and presented fast, consistent quality, and affordability. My favorites are the Shanghai pork ribs, the thick-cut pork chop over rice, and the sizzling steak set dinner. Lots of menu choices. They also make probably one of the best milk teas around Hong Kong.

This restaurant has about 35 dishes at anytime which often refreshed with 5 varieties every few hours. As such, you get diversity on your choices. They offer curry, noodles, soup, fried meat, and vegetables too. Their service is fast - you get your food hot. As for the drinks, they have hot and cold and fresh juices too.

As for the cost, I can fairly say that this is one of the most affordable and value for money restaurants in Hong Kong.

This bustling restaurant is located at the basement of Starhouse in the Harbor center shopping complex. The roasted pork and duck , wanton noodle soup were very tasty and the serving portions were very hot and generous. Very affordable. The only down side was the line to pay for your order and the difficulty of finding a table. Search for the staff in yellow aprons who can help clear the tables .

barely visible from the street, but very large and mainly located right along the harbor front, more or less where there is' boarding for the ferry. A sort of fast food / self service but the food is 'really good, a valid alternative to the usual American fast food, although probably I'll go' even for a dinner a little more challenging. I managed to do a 2 course lunch and a drink with 29hk $ practically a mirage in this city. I recommend it
