“Great Buffet!”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Staying at the Shangri-La, we ate both breakfast and dinner at Cafe Too.

Breakfast is great - the restaurant is airy and the tables aren't too close together so you aren't too cramped when it gets crowded. The breakfast buffet (HKD308) has great options - all the cooked to order eggs you would want and all the western add-ons (bacon, sausages, mushrooms etc), a dim sum/yum cha station, HK noodle soup station, cereal and toast station, fruit....really all you could want both asian and western! Try out everything and have a leisurely breakfast. Cuppachinos and Lattes are included in the price which is nice, and try out the guava juice which was yum!

The dinner buffer (relatively expensive at ~HKD650) does have a large range of seafood (lots of lobser, crab, shrimp etc), sushi, hot western food, hot asian food, indian food, and a large dessert bar. Not as cheap as the high-end Las Vegas buffets (but then again, they are competing with a lot more in vegas so understandly cheaper) but was still great value and they had great service too.

Highly recommend both breakfast and dinner there.

“Need More Variety”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Firstly, I must commend cafe Too for the excellent ambience and decorations to the place, it was classy and relaxing. Now onto the food. Dishes were fairly similar, nothing really special so I mainly stuck to dumplings. I love the dessert bars at buffets so I went there to get a bit of everything. The jellies were rubbery and flavourless and the cakes all tasted similar (just different colours). My friend and I went for dinner buffet about $65AUD/ person. Won't recommend.

“3 days in hong kong - breakfast”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Our 3rd day in hong kong and have really enjoyed the breakfasts at the Too cafe. Great selection of fruit juices - especially like the barley drink. Wide selection of intl foods from dim sum, to omlettes, to Indian curry. Fresh breads and have been pleased with the different choices. Some reviews have said limitted selection but I suspect that is if you like one specific type of food. It is truly an Intl buffet and great to sample so many types of local as well as western selections. As for the comments on rude service.... Not on any of our visits. Very attentive and never any empty dish one unfilled cup of coffee. Two thumbs up from us.

“Fantastic array of food + top notch service”
Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

We had dinner here for my mum's 60th birthday. WOW! Incredible the choices of food to choose from and how high quality the food was. The service by the waiters was amazing, not letting you fill up your own glass of wine or water. They even arranged for a small birthday slice of cake and marzi pan birthday message.

Some of the highlights:
- scallops + goose liver - really high quality cooking and very tasty. Be quick as they only cook a certain amount each time;
- lobster - ate about 2 full lobsters, fresh
- chicken soup - had chicken foot in this, boiled in separate containers, most amazing chicken soup I've tasted;
- pepper steak - very flavoursome meat;
- freshly made crepes - I had strawberries + nutella which was just nice

Other items available include assorted curries, noodle soups, roast meats (duck, pork, chicken), desserts were amazing.
