Arguably Hong Kong's most famous curry beef brisket. A stone throw's away from Lam Kwai Fung Hotel, this place is usually packed to the brim. Good thing is that because the food is so delicious, it doesn't take very long for one to finish up one's meal and vacate. So a short wait in line is all it takes. Trust me, it is well worth the wait. My personal favourite is the Curry Beef Brisket and Beef Tendon in Curry Sauce. Tender beef bits, al dente noodles, rich curry broth. Immaculate. Don't forget to wash it all down with a refreshing Iced Milk Tea. It is the perfect pick-me up before heading back to the office or on your merry way to the many shopping boutiques nearby.

“I like curry brisket...”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

We went there about 3plus in the afternoon, and there was a short queue. We had the curry beef tendon brisket HKD80 and clear soup brisket with Hor Fun HKD35. The curry is japanese style, but more spicy. The food is good, if you like beef and organs. The place is small, and they try to get everyone to eat and get lost. Quite hectic and noisy. The toast & tomato soup macaroni stall across the street is worth a try as well!

“Noodle bar”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

A noodle bar that is full of locals. Not the most salubrious of places but seats were like hot cakes. There was a constant flow of locals coming in for there no-frills noodles. We were a bit of a novelty in the place. Hope you don't mind sharing a table.

Excellent food and really cheap.

“Don't go there...”
Reviewed September 20, 2012 via mobile

We arrive in this restaurant arount 10 pm.
They serve until 10.30 normaly...Tables empties, except one where they asked us to seat with prople eating.
One guy gave us the card and say us to order 2 differents soupes, and added there is nothing else !!! We get one clear soup, no taste, and one with a lot of curry, impossible to eat.
At 22.20, they begun to clean the floor, close the door and some light, so crazy...
I can not understand how this restaurant get this good rate !!!

“Stunning Brisket + Springy Noodles = Best Cheap Eats!”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Absolutely delicious, this place lives up to all expectations. The brisket is flavorful and moist. The noodles are springy and delicious.

Having tried both the vermicelli and the wider yellow noodles, I'd recommend the wider noodles as an overall better and more flavorful soup.

Cheap and delicious, this place is must-eat for any visit to Hong Kong!
