Description: Situated above the city overlooking Pokfulam Country Park and the South China Sea, The Peak Lookout is a Hong Kong landmark with unique character. The restaurant, having served generations of patrons including both locals and visitors, offers fine food within an elegant heritage house seeped in rich history. This Grade II historic building, typifying 'East meets West' architecture, first began offering light refreshments in 1947 and continues to serve a wide range of international dishes of exceptional quality. The Peak Lookout recently reopened its doors following a stylish redesign, which includes the introduction of a contemporary raised terrace, ensuring a relaxed ambience ideal for al fresco dining. The restaurant's stunning location and natural surroundings means it offers guests a different experience each visit, depending on the time of year.

Foods are not the best but generally good, but the deserts are very good.service is a little slow but friendly.Prices are a little high but it values for the view. You must go there in the evening before sundown. Be careful in winter about foggy weather.

Ladies beware, this place has high up drafts and is not ideal for those wearing short skirts. Not unless you are keen to show everyone your underwear. The view is great, the cable car up and back is an excellent experience. The souvenir shops are quite ordinary and expensive. We did not sample any of the food but there appeared to be an excellent choice. A big tip is to go first thing in the morning around 10:00 am by midday it is very busy. Well worth dong.

A very peaceful spot with amazing views over the islands and the sea.
Food is lovely - not cheap but a fabulous position and with the peak being a phenomenally expensive place for property within the expensiveness of Hong Kong you can understand why.
Book a table for the terrace for before 7 - great place for the sunset

Situated on Victoria Peak, the restaurant has excellent veiws over the south-side of Kong Island and has a out door seating area which really takes advantage of this. Whilst dining outside the views are really impressive in the evening on a clear night.

I have eaten here a few times and always been impressed by the quality of the food, the selection is varied including seafood, curries, salads, tandori, burgers, club sandwiches which i believe would cover most tastes.

Service in the evening is excellent, but I had noticed that over lunch, the service is not quite at the same high level.

The only negative I have is that although the food is very well prepared and the service is excellent, you are definitely paying a premium for the prime "tourist" location. Saying that I have returned a number of times so can't be that bad.
